La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth City View

My stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites (City View) Fort Worth was a very pleasant experience. I really liked the design of the room — it was spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and even included a good-sized closet. The bathroom was extremely clean, and the glass-door shower was excellent and very relaxing after a long day. The room itself was spotless and ready for me even before check-in time, which I appreciated. While I didn’t have the city view I was hoping for, it didn’t take away from the overall quality of the stay. The hotel was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, this was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area.

Location was close to shopping and restaurants and felt safe. The third room we had was good and clean although the smoke alarm was hanging. The first room the door did not lock . We requested a room change . That was done without a hassle but the bathroom light would not stay on so we requested another room again without a hassle. My advice check out the room when you check in to make sure everything is in operating order.

Look, I can give you all a rundown of the majority of the rooms in this hotel because unfortunately I have to stay there multiple times a week due to my job. Please understand that I have stayed on floors 1-4, and in multiple rooms on each over a long period of time. Sheets and comforter look bad, visible stains, hard to tell if they are clean. Carpets are not vacuumed well in most rooms. TV's don't respond well to remotes, or remote simply will not control the TV. Some staff members do not know how to properly make a key card, so have fun walking back down to the lobby for a working keycard. A/C-Heater combo's are noisy, but more importantly some do not shut off, or do not work. Some deadbolts in the rooms will not lock due to door frame issue. Positive: Other than being centrally located for our planned activities, there is nothing to recommend this hotel. Negative: No room service for a 4 night stay. Too soft beds: no support. Elevators in serious need of interior maintenance. Very unwelcoming staff.

Service was wonderful but the Bex was hard as a rock. The room smell old, shower was nasty and bed felt like it had bed bugs. If you go to a different location maybe better but this one it could be a lot better. I actually got up in the middle of the night and left never did that at any hotel before.
