It's nice at Laposa North. The toilets rarely have toilet paper spake sure to bring your own. Also make sure you don't pay early!! My camp-mate paid 2 days early for the next 2 weeks and we lost 2 days. Also make sure to get all stickers for all vehicles and tent. They don't keep track of these things and don't seem to communicate with each other. They are all volunteering and have no way to back track information for their patrons. Other than those things, if group camping, it's a great place with lots of open space to roam, walk, hike, ride, ect.. it's also very close to town and Tyson Wells and is a nice walk or drive for groceries. There are no showers, I suggest the salon my road runner or the laundry on main. Water, sewage is at South laposa. Make sure to bring a hose and water filte

Very large area with plenty of camping. Fees apply depending on the length of your stay

Drove through here, and another BLM site further to east. Not too impressed. This one looked like a homeless encampment for the middle-class RV-er. Circle yer wagons around the toilets! The 14-day sites to the east looked more like wild desert camping. Not so noisy and junky. Stayed a couple days and had fun perusing the gem shows.

We had so much fun here! Be prepared to make new friends and have lots of memories. If you are getting around on a bicycle, make sure you have aggressive tire tread and let a little bit of air out of your tires so you won’t be like me and have three popped tires and then have to order new off-road tires to replace the city tires.

Easy access to mostly level open area sites. Camping on dirt and rocks, you will fill dirty by evening. This site is closest to RV show area and Tyson Wells vendor's area. There are a lot of off road side-by-side vehicles driving around sites adjacent to Tyson wash and they produce a lot of dust. If you want a quieter and less dust, camp at La Posa South, where there are dump stations, potablwater, and vault toilets. Can't beat the $40.00 for two weeks camping.
