La PodLife

The hotel was wonderful for the ten nights I stayed and the host was super friendly.. unfortunately that’s about it. You had to put your deposit through cash app and when I tried to receive the deposit back from the owner I was ghosted (possibly blocked as the messages won’t deliver now) by the owner and was declined my deposit back… all I would receive as a response that “He’s still looking into it” even though its been over a month since my stay there! I’m unsure why the owner must hold on to a measly 50$ but I just wanted to let other people know of this issue before booking!

Cool experience. Hostel with a futuristic feel and bed pods in a couple newly remodeled converted residential homes. Street parking only so budget 5-10 minutes to find some. Best for solo travelers as price for two was comparable to a hotel. I had a super amazing sleep in the pod, I should totally install one of these in my bedroom. I am 6'3" and I barely fit diagonally, barely. I usually feel claustrophobic but didn't it all. There is a TV, fan, adjustable lights, USB charging and a tray in the pod. I would definitely stay here again.

I went to check in for my reservation, but there was no one there. Supposedly, the electricity in the PODS blew, and they had to relocate. There were no notes and only 1 attempt to contact me via the messaging system on the third-party site. So, after traveling and in a not-so-safe-feeling neighborhood, I had to book a last-minute accommodation. I requested a refund from LA Pod life which they stated I would get and I never did. Never again

LA Podlife is a clean and blissful getaway from the bustling LA lifestyle. We arrived late Saturday night after |a long search for a place to stay that was both convenient and affordable. What we found was a modern and serene sanctuary. Chris was extremely accommodating. Even after a very late check in. He took the time to show us the ammenities which included a small theater, dining space and gym. We enjoyed the space so much, we decided to stay another night and fully recharge on these calming grounds. Definitely a place to stay while visiting LA.

This place is honestly immaculate! Kevin is amazing and cares about his guests and the time they have. They have rules with all guests best interests in mind. The pods are private, safe and secure. This place provides everything you need for a home base on a trip that is affordable. Highly recommend to everyone if you're staying in LA to check these out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
