La Colina

La Colina does it right. This was a beautiful stay for my wife and I celebrating our one year anniversary. Charm and character in every direction you look, attention to detail on another level. The breakfast is simple but refreshing, consisting of the best ingredients and thoughtful details. Muffins in the mini terracotta pots were a favorite of mine. The pool is also very relaxing. If you’re looking for a calm getaway, with a lot of design inspiration, La Colina is a great place for you.

We went on a girls weekend for my friend’s 50th and boy we were blown away by this place. The rooms are detailed to perfection by the hostess Stacy. The coziness of the stables and game room gave us feelings of nostalgia. We indulged in the grapefruit beer and giggled our way to the fire in the cowboy cauldron. We basked in the warmth of the fire for the night and then went back to our rooms for the evening. La Colina is the perfect place to celebrate any special event in your life or to just get away to renew. This best kept secret is the perfect weekend getaway for relaxation. La Colina is a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the Hudson Valley area. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the outstanding hosts and owners Stacey and Andrew who gave us a tour of this amazing property. From the comfortable and cozy rooms to the fire pits to the entertainment stable this place has something for everyone. We will be going back!

My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway in the Hudson Valley and discovered this hidden gem. La Colina is a magical escape, from the cozy rooms, the potting shed breakfasts and the toasty fire pits at night you feel like you are in another place in time. Stacey and Andrew are the perfect hosts making your stay comfortable as well as suggesting local restaurants, breweries and events for your enjoyment.

La Colina!! If you’re looking for a unique, fun and beautiful place to stay in the Hudson Valley, you just found it. Rooms are cozy. The grounds are well kept with plenty of fun activities to do. Lovely pool. Centrally located to explore all that the Hudson Valley has to offer. From this location there is something for everyone. Breweries with music, Lego Land, wineries, distilleries, dining, hiking and farmers markets. I could add the Catskills as well. Stacy and Andrew are great hosts and will help you find what your looking for. When you’re done for the day come sit by a fire lit in a large cauldron or watch the sunset next to a fire pit with the best Mountain View in the region. Walk around the grounds at dusk.
