Krog's Kamp

I've been coming to Alaska since 1984 and stayed at multiple places throughout the years. I have come back every single year since both fishing and hunting. In 1993 I found Krogs Kamp in Seldotna. I have not stayed anywhere else since! I can fish steps away from my cabin. Homer and Seward are nearby for Halibut fishing. Numerous air taxis are just moments away for fishing or hunting. One great aspect is all the charters and air taxi companies have been proven by previous clients reviews to Mel! You are always going with a proven company no matter what you choose to do. Mel and Bob always provide great accommodations & hospitality. Unfortunately Bob is no longer with us but Mel has things up and running again and is getting the Lodge in tiptop shape. This was my second stay at Krog’s fishing camp! It is one of the best locations on the Kenai river in Soldotna! Great clean cabins! Very accommodating! Mel is a great host and the owner! We have met several other guests who have been coming to Krogs for years! Many good stories told around the firepit at night! Cleaning station is great and fishing is second to none! This was my 4th trip to the Kenai and this is my go to location

We stayed at Krog's Kamp for 7 days and had the most amazing time! Mel took care of everything for all our adventures in the Kenai Peninsula and Josh was there to help with all our needs. They felt like family. They provided all the gear for fishing off-site. When King Salmon weren't running Mel switched us to Trout Fishing. Mel helped us to get our fish shipped home. The property is beautiful with the views on the Kenai River along with an Eagle nest. I would highly recommend this location. We look forward to visiting Mel again!

I have been going to KROGS KAMP almost every year since 1994. The location is one of the finest on the Kenai River. With great fishing just steps from every cabin. I have taken many friends and family over the years and everyone had a fantastic experience. Once you are booked in, it's literally one stop shopping. Krog's Kamp is older but lodge has been renovated. Great location on the Kenai River. I was their first guest of the 2024 season. I don't fish but it was a great quiet spot to rest and relax. The eagle's nest in the middle of the river on the island was fun to watch. My lodge suite was spacious and comfortable. Do call and make inquiry.
