Caribou Crossing Cabins

These cabins are just as amazing as the owners! The hospitality was over the top wonderful! The cabins are adorable and filled with everything you need, not to mention spotless! There are plenty of gathering places outside of the cabins, including a nightly fire pit and covered picnic area. My husband has stayed here multiple times and we will keep going back! We highly recommend Caribou Crossing to everyone! Such a beautiful central area for visiting all of the breathtaking attractions that Alaska has to offer. My oldest son and I spent an incredible week in Alaska fishing and sightseeing from July 26-August 1st. We traveled with cousins who are experienced Alaska visitors. My cousins booked us at the Caribou Crossing Cabins and boy am I glad they did! Loren and Dianna Hollers are the perfect hosts! Their property is absolutely beautiful and immaculate. The cabins were comfortable and quaint and kept immaculate! While staying at Caribou Crossing you feel like you are in your own little secluded Alaskan paradise, except with some great amenities such as a fire pit (with free wood), washer dryer, covered barbecue area and a fish cleaning station to clean and process your catch of the day. My first trip to Alaska with some friends and was not sure what to expect. Let me say that this place is without a doubt the best place to stay in the entire state! The whole family works to keep the cabins and all of its amenities in immaculate conditions. Truly amazing. They make you feel like you are at home and part of the family! 110% recommend.

I recently stayed at Caribou Crossing Cabins for the 6th time. My 11 trips to Alaska have resulted in my experiencing many different levels of lodging and none compares to this Soldotna location. I return because the cabins are well maintained and cleaned with excruciating attention to detail. The family-owned operation prides itself on the grounds, which are impeccable, and on service. The grounds provide plenty of covered picnic space for outdoor meals, multiple grills, laundry, and a wonderful fire pit for meeting others (no more than 4 parties are accommodated at a time). A first class fish-cleaning station is a plus for those wishing to fillet their catch off of the river. The location is quiet and accessed easily from downtown Soldotna.
