Knights Inn Castleton on Hudson/Schodack

We are writing this review from the hotel...oh wait the wireless connection doesn't work. Instead we write this from our Ford Escape as we hurriedly drive away the morning after. We were first greeted by a sweet little lady, and we found ourselves agreeing to stay the night even though we had a few concerns. The outside of the building was very quaint, but when you open the door, you will faint. It was then we realized that we were not in fact going to be treated as knights, but rather the prisoners in the dungeon of the castle. Our “non-smoking” room reeked of moldy smoke and we could feel the cold dampness in our noses. While looking for bed bugs we noticed that there wasn't a fitted sheet, better yet we found mint candy wrappers tucked in nice and neat. Into the bathroom we ventured, wh

Affordable motel close to the turnpike. No frills but you're here because you don't expect them. A perfectly representative room with everything you'll need.

Wonderful family, praying for more soft sheets and bedding soon enough, but highly recommend this lovely stop.

There is no breakfast here period! Outlets either don't work or barely hold plugs in them. Could be cleaner...
