King's Lodge Motel

It should be called the Joker||||certainly not fit to be named King.||||The place is a dump the rooms are small and have not been updated. the sheets were stained and the mattress lumpy.||||you can hear the pipes banging at night and a horrible odor from outside.||||the picture in the ad deceiving ad there were three cars in a very dirty parking lot.||||stay away!

Remember this is a Motel not Hotel or chain; Older buildings, basic rooms, no carpet. Hands off service unless requested. Convenient to fwy, E Metrolink and on 33 bus route. Quiet tenants. 2 beds, refrigerator TV wifi Bathtub (+shower) Closet 🆒Dog friendly! We booked in here for our first night in the states after an overnight flight from NZ, therfore just looking for somewhere to sleep. ||First impression is not very flash, looks rundown and a bit of a dodgy neighbourhood. ||Once in the room, it was basic but clean and tidy in the room. Fridge, microwave and TV were all in good condition. The beds were by far the best thing about the place, I wasn't expecting much but the beds were so comfortable and it was arguably one of the best beds I slept in during our two weeks away. ||Negatives:|- Neighbourhood was a bit rough, but we had a car so missed most of it. |- Bathroom was ok, want 100% clean but was clean enough for what we needed and expected. |- No cutlery or plates and only a couple Styrofoam cups. Nice and clean place. Comfortable bed. People in the reception were very police and welcoming. Showers and toilet big and clean. It is not a luxurious fancy hotel, but if you need a good, safe. and clean place to sleep during your stay in LA close to all tourists destinations, Kings Lodge Motel is a perfect choice for you. If we travel to LA again, we will certainly accommodate in Kings Lodge Motel again.

Great motel! Not only do they have direct tv, an ironing board and iron, they have a microwave and refrigerator as well! All of that for 78bucks a night on the weekend! Not to mention the quiet and clean location and friendly staff. The only negative was the bed was not the softest/most comfortable. The restroom was surprisingly well laid out, clean and spacious. I didn't want to leave. 👏🏾
