King's Inn of Platte

•Just an fyi, if you’re thinking about doing your laundry here at the kings inn laundry mat think twice. People do not know how to clean up after themselves. It’s not every time it’s like this but nearly every time I do my laundry which is once a week, I’m either cleaning up other people’s trash, sticky soap messes, lint out of the dryers, putting chairs away or other random things from the washers. I know the owners of this place aren’t to blame and it’s most likely the tourists that come here but to all the adults that wash their clothing here CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF it’s not that flippin hard, ever hear of common courtesy? Yall are some nasty people! This will be my last time coming here. •However, if you’re in need of a laundry mat this place is ok for it just inspect for hair balls,

My granddaughter and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago while in Platte for a family get together. This was my second time staying at this motel, and again it was a pleasure. The gentleman in the office knew exactly why I was there and let me know where my other family members had gone since I arrived a bit later. He had saved me a great room. Our room was large and very clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The air conditioner kept it good and cold when it was nearly 100 degrees outside ( a HUGE plus in my book!). The breakfast/community room was clean with lots of seating, and they provided an adequate continental breakfast to get the day started. It's an older motel but seams to be clean, staf is friendly and treats you good, price is ok too. Location is good for fisherman, parking is definitely made for trucks n boats and that's a great thing...

Wonderful hotel!! The owner was super cool and down to earth. The hotel rooms are in tip top shape. The town of platte is beautiful and has a very nice vibe to it. Very small town feel. Not the kind of place you need to keep things in your car locked and hidden. I was impressed. To anyone cruising through here I recommend this hotel and town to stop in.

We wanted to get off the beaten trail and get some rest. I found the Kings Inn and thought, why not? The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant and fun to talk to. Our room was clean and comfortable and the air worked fine. There is a nice, new laundry facility across the parking lot and it was the cleanest laundromat that I have ever seen! The machines worked flawlessly. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was too hot the second day, but it cooled after awhile. Our last night there, we, along with others, sat outside in the dark (the power was out) and watched a storm come in. Overall, a great, restful stay.
