King's Inn - LaFayette

Very nice for a roadside inn. No iron, in case you need one. Larger fridge, microwave, coffee. Bed is comfy. Room was clean. Bedside lights all have outlets that are easy to reach (no moving the furniture).

Annual family reunion LABOR DAY for almost 50 years.....room block was arranged in MAY. I was called on Saturday advised all of the blocked rooms had been canceled. We have family coming in from Florida, Ga, Tenn and NC. I have been a travel consultant for 28 years ...this hotel is a 2* at best and one of two that are offered in LaFayette....IT WILL NOT BE USED BY OUR FAMILY AGAIN....as a TRAVEL CONSULTANT it most definitely WILL NOT be recommended by myself or my family.

i booked a reservation through expedia, when we arrived and checked in our room, there were wet stains and what looked like cheeto? stains all over the bed. we told the front desk and she changed our room, the second room also had stains such as what looks like blood? on the bed. also the door wouldn’t shut all the way so we slept with a chair in front of it. i wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!

Rooms were clean enough, my toilet was not bolted to the floor and would tip every time I tried to use it. The spotlight a few doors down is so incredibly bright no matter where you are in the building that it looks like it’s daylight. This photo was taken at 3 am when I kept waking up to road noise. They have no breakfast or coffee options and the lobby is closed and I think an employee is living in the lobby. There is someone’s pet dog behind the door that barks incessantly when you go into the check in area and tries to break down the glass door which is concerning.

My room was very clean and tidy. I had a good experience, a good nights sleep, and the hotel desk man was kind and polite!
