Kimberling Oaks Resort

This was a great way to end our summer before school starts! It was such a clean space- from the cabin, to the pool, to the lake/dock, to the surrounding area. It was very well-kept! John was so helpful with any questions, keeping the pool area looking great, finding us a golf cart to rent and giving recommendations on where to take the cart! We loved the slide in the pool, the lily pad at the lake, and access to kayaks. Taking the gold cart to the marina was a highlight- such a great location. My husband, 2 girls (6 and 9) and I agreed we would love to come back next summer and hopefully bring our extended families with us!

This is my second year and I will be back. I fell in love with this resort the 1st time. I have recommended it to all my family & friends. This is a very cozy place to spend quality time with loved ones.

This is an older but nice place to stay. The inside of the cabins have been updated and are clean. The pool is also nice and clean. Since it is older there are a few quirks such as our bathroom didn’t have an outlet to plug in our hairdryer but there was a mirror with an outlet in our room that worked just fine. The kitchen in cabin 8 didn’t have an overhead light. There was a battery powered light mounted but the batteries were dead so it didn’t work. We just ended up taking one of the small lamps out of the bedroom and plugged it in the kitchen and it worked out fine. Again, just little quirks that were really no big deal. We didn’t think about bringing any games with us and there weren’t any in the game room so I recommend bringing your own. The game room does have arcade style games y

The resort is nice, near the water, clean and comfortable... UNLESS... we asked for a handicap accessible cabin. There currently are none. It was a difficult stay for us. However, we do recommend it for able bodied folks!

The rooms were so nice and clean and the people running it are incredible humans!! We had such a nice relaxing stay here and its proximity to the lake was perfect! They were so good to us and treated us so well!! They had lots of amenities open to use and we will definitely be back!!
