Key West Inn - Boaz

Bed sheets had stains and hole.bugs and spiders. The bed had black curly hair and so did the shower. There were dark fingerprint stains in the shower. The door has huge gaps around it... the prices at the office were higher than online and you have to place a 50.00 deposit on top of the room rate.do not recommend

We moved from Boaz to Tennessee a year ago. We came back to see family and attend the Jacksonville state homecoming game. Since the other hotel in Boaz was booked, as were the two hotels in Albertville, we decided to give Key West a shot. ||||We should have kept right on driving when we pulled up in the park and ng lot and two police cars were in the lot, and a small gathering of people kept staring us down as we got out of our car. We went ahead, went inside and asked the clerk on duty about the situation. After giving us somewhat of a believable explanation we checked in. Do yourself a favor, and never ever check into this place. I would rather sleep in my car.||||The room hadn't been cleaned, around the bottom of the toilet on the floor were urine stains. Booked online, but it still took 20 minutes when I got to the desk. When I finally got in the room, the first thing I found was the toilet seat was broke and unusable. When I called the front desk, the desk clerk told me she'd let them know in the morning. What??? Then I tried to turn on the a/c, but it didn't work... it wouldn't come on no matter what I did. I called the front desk, and the clerk said she'd move us to another room. I told her that I'd paid extra for a handicap room for my wife, and she said "it's alright, I won't charge you anymore for the other room". What??? We both got the feeling that the sheet hadn't been changed after the last people left... there were definitely some funky looking stains on the bed spreads. Invested with bedbugs and why do u have to leave deposits no other hotel does that ive been too

The desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating for my daughter that just had knee surgery. The room was clean. Beds very comfortable. The shower was amazing Pretty quiet area. I would stay here again. Very nice and price was great
