Kemah Edgewater Hotel

Usually I love a Best Western affiliated hotel, however Best Western needs to lose its affiliation with this hotel. Your night starts with a hotel clerk that has a problem with dogs and service dogs. Her questioning triggering, medically intrusive, and against my civil rights to have ask. I have been in Best Western's nation wide, never have i had this problem in a hotel. Once getting into the room the first smell that over powered everything was mold. I get this is coastal I grew up on an island. Only worst hotels with poor ventilation ever smelled this heavy of mold and mildew. The rudeness of the front desk girl alone is unbelievable when it comes to basic service, and i will be calling into Best Western's headquarters to complain.

😊: Beautiful and convenient location.. 😢: The staff was less than accommodating. We were hurrying to pack up after being at a big wedding and someone kept banging on our door and yelling that we needed to check out. No one over stays at a hotel on purpose and they obviously had a ton of rooms available, I didn't see the need to be so rude..

Positive: Location Negative: Sometimes it smelled like mildew in our room

We booked through Priceline who messed up our reservation somehow to include 2 people instead of family of 4 but front desk accommodated it. Very nice and clean hotel with spacious and clean rooms and comfortable beds. And very close to Kemah boardwalk and NASA Johnson space center. Overall good stay experience.

Stayed for 10 days in a handicap suite. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Everything was very clean. Staff super friendly and helpful
