Wonderful old school Inn!!! The suite was clean and spacious. The bed comfy cozy. The shower is a small size but the water pressure is the best on island I have found. The Inn is so very comfortable as it captures all the tradewinds. Easy walking distance to about 5 restaurants. The owners are very kind and dedicated to the Inn.
Very quiet, older inn. Rooms have ceiling fans, no AC. It rained softly off & on with some cool breezes so it was perfectly comfortable. Shower was small but had very good water pressure. Queen size bed was comfy cozy.We had a cute outside sitting area to enjoy a cocktail in the sweet smelling air. Grounds were very well manicured & naturally beautiful. Perfect location with lots of good restaurants around the area.
We came to visit family and this local inn was perfect for us! It had a full kitchen and full sized refrigerator. Although we didn’t cook we heated up some stuff in the microwave and made coffee! The bed was a bit soft for me but my husband loved it! I loved the shower, hot and strong and the towels were big and plush! It was really clean, quiet and there is a great steak house and bar on the same block we could walk to. There is also a nice shaded lawn area outside with chairs and tables. Good cooling winds blew through our room with a ceiling fan! You won’t be disappointed if you don’t need fancy accommodations on this expensive island in paradise!
The hotel is old. If you're looking for a 'relatively' inexpensive place to sleep, shower, and use as a base, the Kalaheo Inn is okay. What makes it tolerable are the people who work there. They're absolutely great. The bed was comfortable; the basic kitchen needs were there (no stove, but a microwave; refrigerator, sink, some basic counter-top appliances, etc.) If staying for a while, be prepared to either pay extra for replacing toilet paper, soap, and such - or buying your own at Walmart/Costco.||It's the cheapest we could find among the expensive options. Kalaheo is south-central Kauai and on the almost exact opposite part of the island from Princeville.
A first rate experience in a budget hotel/inn. I wasn’t really wanting for anything, or found anything to be out of order in the room. And the place is spotless.|We’ll appointed little room with twin beds #12.|Coffee maker|Fully stocked kitchenette|Nice bathroom towels|All the toiletries you’d need|Not a speck of dirt on bathroom mirrors or any of the other mirrors in unit.|When I return to my room on my first day there were a couple of bunches of apple bananas waiting for me.|The garden area between the two buildings is lovely and relaxing. Includes picnic table and gas grill.
