Customer Reviews
The hotel staff was very friendly and responsive. The standard king rooms are small and the walls are thin, but still cozy space. We did have one hiccup with the room but the staff quickly sorted it out and relocated us. Overall it’s not a bad stay, beds were comfortable and after a late show at Guild Hall it was a welcome retreat. Off season prices seem high for what it was, but not a bad stay at all.
I recently met up with one of my best childhood friends from L.I. for a chill getaway in East Hampton. The entire property of Journey EH is exceptionally modern, fresh, clean and tidy. Their location is super convenient to the towns and beaches of both East Hampton and Amagansett. They offer grab-and-go breakfast, snacks, and drinks, and a member of the staff lights the fire pit every night and provides DIY s'mores. Cindy welcomed me the morning after I had checked in late the night before. She has had a lifelong career in hospitality and hotel management and it is evident. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and helpful - from Erika and Keanu who arranged my initial arrival, to Michelle who assisted us in purchasing a bottle of wine one evening. Our guest room was beauti
We stayed over MLK weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff, especially Keanu, were incredibly kind and welcoming. The property was clean, charming, and well maintained, and the sauna was a wonderful bonus. We would definitely stay again!
We recently returned for our second stay, and it was every bit as delightful as the first. The staff once again made us feel incredibly welcome — their warmth and attentiveness truly set this place apart. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere that instantly feels like home. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything feels so personal and genuine. We’re already looking forward to coming back for our next visit!
This is a motel that has been modernized. They offer some amenities to make up for the fact that you're staying at a motel. They've tried hard and done almost the best they can. In the winter it is challenging to take advantage of what they offer (pool, outdoor fire pit - not operating when raining, bicycles). It's still a motel. Friendly staff. The white noise/clock is useful as the noise from the main road is noticebale. I think they should suspend the resort fee in the winter months. If you're looking for a decent price in Easthampton, this could be the place for you.
