Bend In The Road Guest House

I decided to go on a spontaneous trip to the Hamptons and immediately began to look for a place to stay when I found the "Bend in the Road Guest House". I called Carolyn and from the jump I knew that her guest house would be it. I could tell from that phone conversation that she would be a great host. I went with my gut and made the arrangements & I am so happy that I did. She was such a wonderful, warm and caring host. Carolyn is truly accommodating. The space is very big and welcoming. We shared our love about art and spent some time with her dogs (so cute!). The overall stay there was just wonderful and very relaxing. It truly saddened me to leave! I cant wait to visit again! Carolyn, once again, Thank You for such a Great stay!

I wNted my trip to East Hampton to be away from the hamptons glam and glitz and that's exactly what I got. The house is modest, cute and real. The rooms are ample. (I liked the Ivy room best). The grounds are big and very dog-friendly. The set-up allows for plenty of privacy if desired. || Carolyn is a charming host and very knowledgable about the area. I got her to show me her studio and works in progress. Her pottery is divine. She also paints. She uses watercolor techniques I've never seen before and the effect is unique. Best of all her prices are very un-Hampton like - quite reasonable. My only complaint is that she does not have enough of these fine works priced and displayed throughout the house.

Carolyn was the most accommodating, genuine, and wonderful host one could imagine. We were greeted with a glass of wine and talked about dog rescuing, eclectic decorating, and she even recommended a dinner spot for us and the dog! the dinner was definitely something to remember as well. ||||We said our goodbyes while our dog ran around with all her other dogs in Carolyn's giant backyard. We cant wait to go back with our friends for the pool that opens in the warmer months!||||thanks so much Carolyn!

This quest house is a special place for guests and their dogs but also for kids.It has a central location and very near the beautiful beaches, inlets, and shopping.Caroline is so helpful and friendly. One of our days was very rainy and she took us all to her pottery studio where we played with clay for several fun filled hours. Her yard is park like and the pool is great for an afternoon swim. Caroline offered some lovely wine and cheese for us and special treats for the kids. We found this guest house to be comfortable, clean, and charming with many eclectic antique furnishings and art objects, including Caroline's pottery and paintings. If you are looking for a relaxed, friendly quest house on the east end we highly recommend Bend In The Road

Carolyn is a great host with fantastic recommendations on where to eat and hit the beach! The house is centrally located - close to East Hampton's town center and also Amagansett. I was able to ride my bike every where avoiding all traffic safely. Room was spacious, private and quiet. All the comforts of home. Looking forward to returning next season.||||Ozzie
