Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing Park

Fantastic experience! We took our kids for their first ever snowtubing experience and decided to give Jonas Ridge a try. Very easy to navigate, not too crowded, friendly staff and affordable rates. Highly recommend for families with children or if you’re looking for a snow tubing only experience. I recommend booking early to get the time spot you want because they seemed to fill up quickly and we only could choose 9 am for the day we planned to go. I would’ve booked earlier if I had known how quickly the time slots filled up.

I was worried this wouldn't be good because it's small, but it was awesome! The online process was smooth, check in quick, tubes in good condition, and staff at top, bottome, and along the conveyor! The 5 lanes were well groomed, wide, and division well packed. We got to go several times due to the well organized process. We only would suggest more control at the top because: people bunch up the line at the first lane leaving 4 & 5 empty; people tend to just go before you can even stand up at the end. With a small child, you have to worry about full size adults barreling toward you. Twice I had to place myself between them to prevent him getting hit. Other than that, this was awesome! (And the cheapest in the area.)

The lift makes getting back to the top effortless, so you can spend more time tubing and less time climbing. We did a family day and had the BEST time! Online purchasing was so easy. We bought our tickets in advance and one family member ended up sick and unable to come. I called before the 24 hour mark and got a full refund for the ticket with no problem. The staff was friendly and the tubing was a blast. We picked school day, so it wasn’t crowded and we didn’t have to wait to tube. The conveyor was awesome to take you right back up. This was what made us want to try Jonas Ridge Tubing. The runs were nice and wide and allowed you go down with multiple people together. There’s a small lodge that was nice to warm up in and take a snack break. The restrooms were clean and warm. This is a perfect family day trip that won’t break the bank. We will definitely return!!

We had a great time, however with the snow melt and mud at the end of run one, they should have closed it for the day. I ended up telling my kids to only use run 3 & 4 since they had the least amount of slush and mud at the bottom. We watched several ppl go down run one and when they hit the mud it was an immediate stop with some flipping out of their tube and others in shock by the force of the stop. Other than that we had a blast. Next time we will plan when the weather is colder
