J Loop Tent Sites Entrance Foot Path

A chance to go on the primitive side of camping with the sounds of the surf for ambience and easy beach access. We camp at the J Loop in May (five years in a row so far), so we avoid the green heads biting flies, but we occasionally have mosquitoes at night and flies during the day. As for ticks (mainly our kids walking around in grassy areas fetching a ball), we have had them 2 years out of five, so it is hit or miss. There are volunteers nearby by in I Loop that assist with the horses (keeping them moving along) and provide helpful input on the current state of affairs for the area. Phone signal is okay, but not great - especially the closer you are to the shoreline.
