Ivey's Motor Lodge

I was extremely happy with the layout of my room. It had a lot of space, and made for a comfortable stay. The staff I encountered at the front desk were pleasant and friendly. However, the lack of housekeeping for the duration of my stay (Sunday night until Wednesday morning - ZERO housekeeping, no fresh towels or trash taken out) was a little unnecessary. I was traveling for work, and eating in my room. There were maybe 10 cars in the parking lot the whole time I was there, so I feel like trash service and clean towels was not too much to expect. Also, my refrigerator had been shut off, so there was a tray full of water in my fridge when I arrived (from the freezer defrosting). Overall, it was better than I expected based on the other reviews here, and I was mostly happy with my stay.

We were disappointed that the breakfast did not have eggs and bacon (like their website described). When we asked about it, we were told that if their occupancy rate was less than 60% they dont do the bacon and eggs. I think it shouldn't be in the breakfast description if it's not offered every day. |We were disappointed that regular TV channels were not an option (like a cable package that offers local channels). Maybe it's standard practice now for places to just offer streaming ability on the televisions?|We were definitely happy with the bistro.

Ivey's reception desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The connected bistro was also great. Since I was traveling by bicycle, it was nice to have a restaurant so handy. The wait staff was personable and efficient and the food (Thai chili chicken wings and farmer's fries) was delicious. The room was comfortable and well stocked. While the hotel is dated, it did the job and I was very happy with my visit. I would definitely stay her again.

Amazing stay. I was here for a couple weeks. Great location. Front desk staff (Beth) super knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to help you out. Plenty of cameras keep an eye on your vehicles at night. Cleaning staff very helpful also. 10/10 would stay again.

Last minute stay in January to look at property. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It snowed 6inches overnight a d the parking lot was cleared before I left at 6am. The breakfast was tasty with a make your own waffle maker as well!. The bistro attached to the motel has a great seafood platter and Everything else i ordered was very good. The beer on tap is always a plus as well!
