Great campground! Sites are not to close together, bathhouse is very clean and nice showers. Coin laundry was nice. Store with anything you need and great ice-cream just across the road. Very short drive to Cedar Island Beach and boat ramp where the wild horses and wild cows are. Another boat ramp by the campground for small boats and kayaks. Great place to stay if catching the ferry or staying a week or two!

Good little campground! The bathroom was great, shower was nice and hot. Since most people have showers in their RVs, it was never a wait. Quiet, and nice people. Lots were very large. Owner was very nice and helpful. The location is great, only 2 minutes to the beach and directly across from the store. The store has everything you could need and the ice cream is great! Only bad things is someone was smoking in the bathroom (even with the no smoking sign), and someone’s dog came and took a dump right next to us lol, but neither is the campgrounds fault. Would definitely come again!

Nice campground, gas, and convenience store across the street. They have hand dipped ice cream that is fantastic! You can get anything there! Close to the ferry to Ocacoke, close to a beach, close to fishing. The owner is laid back. I'm not sure what time check-in was supposed to be, but he said we could go to our space as soon as we got there. The bathhouse and laundry room are large, and I never had to wait. Our camper had a little shower, but it's nice to be able to have some space.

Very clean quiet campground .Owners and employees very friendly. Has boat dock and fishing. Bath houses and laundry emaculate.Will be back.No mosquitos or sand problems. Plenty of room to put up our canopy to enjoy the fire pit .

Great hospitality. Super friendly service. Store has most items you may need and very clean restrooms.
