Islander Motel LLC

The Islander Motel is a hidden gem on LBI. Joe made a great first impression when I called to make the reservation, and he continued to impress throughout, including when he called to let me know our room was ready a bit early. We booked the efficiency room for a family of four. It was bigger than I expected. The kitchen setup includes a full-sized refrigerator, cupboards with plates, cups and bowls, cutlery, towels, and a two burner stove top. The room was very clean, beds comfy, and bathroom had a large pedestal sink with space to put toiletries. There are outdoor chairs in front of the room which were helpful to dry towels and bathing suits. In the common outdoor space there’s a hose to wash off boogey boards, and outdoor shower, and beach toys. The room also came with beach passes!

This motel is amazing. The owner Joe is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. My daughter and I have been coming here for over 7 years. Now we have included my sister in law and her daughter. When we went last week for a few days I told them I felt like it was our home away from home. It’s clean, quiet, homey, affordable and close to the beach. We just love it here. Looking forward to next year. Might even try to go again in September depending on the weather. Thanks Joe. We always have a great time!!

We have stayed at The Islander Motel for a number of years and have always had a wonderful time. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and the rooms are very clean, spacious and nice. The beach is only a short block and a half away. There are a number of restaurants within a few blocks of the motel. Great place to stay.

The location is perfect, only a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Joe is the sweetest, he gave us great tips for food and things to do. Beach badges are included! This was an amazing and affordable stay in LBI, will be back next year for sure!

Worried about staying in a motel for the first time? So was I, but this was the best experience I could imagine. The room was impeccably clean upon arrival, the owner Joe was kind and offered different local tips and tricks, and beach badges are included for your use which saves you a ton of time and money.
