Inn on the Harbor

Such a nice experience! Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Great beds and kitchen was well equipped. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. And the view was spectacular. So excited to have discovered Stonington and the Inn on the Harbor.

Our stay in Stonington ME was absolutely wonderful. It is a small town on Deer Isle—a fishing and artists’ community. We have stayed at Inn on the Harbor in the past ; and we love it for the beautiful harbor views and quiet location. The Inn is older, very comfortably furnished, and cozy. There are several excellent restaurants in the area as well.

This place is the very best. Clean, comfortable, responsive, in a wonderful location next to restaurants and shops, in a quaint, beautiful town and above all they are thoughtful and kind! We were able to leave our luggage before going on a tour and I also forgot my pillow. I didn’t even realize it when I received their message, thank you so much for your kindness! The hospitality room is well thought out, comfortable and all around amazing. Do not hesitate to stay here!

This was our first stay in the state of Maine. Wow! We couldn't have been luckier to have found such a great place. Our host had numerous books on the local history without which we would have never enjoyed as much as we did. We were so greatful for her suggestion to take the ferry out to Isle au Haut. The host has amazing hospitality.

Stayed two nights and found it to be a quiet and charming location. It was a bit of a drive to Acadia, but we were out of the congestion once headed down to the isles. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again.
