This has got to be one of the most charming places I've ever stayed! My room was well appointed and exactly what I needed with a great view and convenient location. Locally owned and operated, it stands out as exceptional if for no other reason than that! It has the bed & breakfast feel without the b&b stuffiness you can sometimes run into. Barrett is the quintessential Inn owner who is both charming and informative with an island knowledge like that of tour guide who is happy to spill the local's favorite places. March-December there is no street parking, but there is always off street available thats easily manageable. During the winter, sidewalks are kept clean and salted and it seems like everyone is happy to attach a plow to their pickups and and plow a parking lot or two. Boyce's an

This is the real deal. EVERY single detail has been thought of to make your stay perfect. The location of course is amazing. In the middle of downtown Stonington, a working fishing village on the coast. The cutest little private dock for guests perches by the ocean. I was in room number 5, traveling solo. It was the most perfect room. I know I will miss some details, as there are so many wonderful ones. The bed perfect and adorned with a handmade quilt. The bed side lights are great, the room has many light options! There is a sound machine, great pressure in the shower, an actual bathroom fan that exhausts, a little coffee maker that makes brewed coffee, thank you for that! Boyce's is a great place to stay when you visit Stonington, Maine. My room was perfectly clean with lovely linens, a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee pot. The folks there are so nice.....you couldn't meet nicer people! The motel has parking (and this is important in Stonington), and it's within an easy walk of 3 restaurants plus the usual gift shops.

We've been going to Boyce's for decades and it never fails to be satisfying and comfortable. Barrett Gray, the owner, is always helpful as are his staff. The rooms are sparkling clean and typically supply everything one needs for a relaxed stay. Some of the rooms are a bit small (though fine for an overnight stay), so we'e begun to book the apartments on offer which are larger yet still very affordable. This place is a treasure and we'll keep coming back!
