Inn at Middletown

Room was large and well prepared. Nice shower. Ample towels, and nice toiletries. Restaurant was decent. Furniture in public areas looks like it hadn't been cleaned/shampooed in years, which is a shame. Elevator floors needed cleaning. Overall, I would book again, but hope there is an emphasis on some thorough cleaning.

I chose this place because of the dog policy. I didn’t expect the room to be so clean and comfortable! The hotel itself is great! Cute, quiet, and excellent staff. The location is great! Close to my family, and downtown Middletown has so many great shops and restaurants. The hotel put coffee, hot chocolate, and HOT CIDER out in the lobby! There is a cozy fireplace and chairs in the lobby too, and everything was decorated for Christmas. They even left us a little gift on Christmas morning, and loaned me scissors so I could finish wrapping some last minute gifts! Definitely coming back!

Room was mostly clean. Cabinet that held tv and mini fridge had a large door to hid the mini fridge, that was hanging of its hing. The tub water spout was detached from the wall and when you pull the lever to push the water to the shower-head, it would separate from the tub itself. Simple tightening and caulking job would fix that. There were also signs of quick cleaning job as there was trash in our bucket either from the cleaner or from previous guest. The toilet was very difficult to flush your had to push very hard on the handle where you felt resistance, and you had to hold it down -again something going on with the toilet itself not the plumbing. I'm a regular guest at the Inn at Middletown which is without a doubt the finest hotel in Middletown, CT. The location is perfect for getting to anyplace in town and Hwy 9. The style and charm is uniquely New England and the staff is friendly and always accommodating. I would highly recommend the Inn for any events and large groups as well, these guys are pros and will take care of every last detail.

We loved our stay at Inn of Middletown. The decore was beautiful very modern take on colonial! The rooms were lovely, large and well appointed. The breakfast in the tavern was outstanding. The parking was actually very easy, we just dropped off our luggage at front of hotel and then parked in free lot behind hotel and used the back guest key entrance located right there,easy peasy. Front desk folks were great and cookies were yummy. The hotel is located within walking distance to town with lots of shops and eateries. Great location.
