Indian Mound Campground

Great spacing and lots of shade. Lots of flat easily accessible sites. Very quiet. No water fill up station or dump station. Have to go to clear lake. Underrated.

We came here to do some camping. It’s much less crowded than the other nearby areas. It offers tent camping as well as rv & popup areas. Many different types of camping areas as well, some down by the lake, others near bathrooms or in the woods etc. bathrooms are always pretty clean. A lot of hiking opportunities, and easily accessible for those who can not necessarily move easily. Lake is beautiful. Beaches are simple but maintained. You can chose to camp near other people, or there are a couple spots that give you space to make it more private. We come here every year, and still love it.

Sick state park campground, could use showers on site instead of down the road. Been coming here for years, never disappointing.

Stayed on site 35. Beautiful camp site. If you can get a spot on the lake, DO IT. The sunset is beautiful!! We liked that it’s rustic; there’s clean latrines with stalls. Water pump takes a minute to get the water out. Friendly camp neighbors; the neighbors we had were very conscious of their generator use so we had no complaints there. There’s a small beach for swimming for those people without a lake site. The water was clear and cold but very refreshing. Lots of people with RVs and boats. We had a van to sleep in. Our spot could have probably fit one tent. Not sure if the walk to sites are better for multiple tents.

Beautiful campgrounds with lots of privacy. Close to nearby towns for exploring. Gorgeous lake!
