Hurleys Hideaway Resort

If you value privacy and serenity over plush comforts of a touristy resort, then you found the right place. It's a collection of modest but cozy cottages located on a small and quiet, clean lake with abundant fish and scarce neighbors. I like to enjoy fishing, kayaking and swimming without being run over by 300hp+ boats. I think I found my perfect vacation spot here.

Dropped off owners...VERY friendly...beautiful, quiet nook in the Northwoods

We have been coming to Hurley's for years, and it's quiet, peaceful, clean, with well maintained cottages that are just a few steps from the lake. There is an on-site manager, docks, rowboats for fishing, a pontoon boat for rent, outdoor grills, and the owner is a pleasure to deal with. It's just five minutes from a small town, Lake Tomahawk, and about 20 minutes from Minocqua (tourist stuff, water ski show, larger grocery stores, antiques, dining overlooking the lake). This is a great little hidden gem on Little Carr Lake. The cottages are very nice, the water in the lake is clear. There is paddle boats, row boats, piers and a fire pit. Just minutes away from Minoqua. Very peaceful and quiet.

We stay here every year for the fall ride. Very quiet away from all of the hustle and bustle of the motorcycles in tomahawk.
