Independence Stay Hotel and Suites

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were greeted upon arrival with fresh cookies and a goodie bag with bottles of water, chips, and some small candy pieces. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There was a very cozy reading area at the top of the stairs with two armchairs, blankets, and a bookcase. The morning breakfast had a great selection, everything was well stocked and kept very clean. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

We were in town for a hockey tournament at the Marinette Rec Center. This hotel is located minutes from the rec center and close to many other items needed during our weekend stay. A huge thank you to the staff for accommodating our hockey family meal - twice! We set up for a team gathering Saturday evening in the conference room and then again with the leftovers Sunday morning prior to our game. They provided cleaning supplies and endless smiles as we gathered in large groups around the first floor of the hotel. Thank you again for all of your support!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Place is a scam. Got a room with a hot tub. Hot tub did not work so we left and did not stay. Not only did they not refund ANY of the money they try passing blame. Told us all other amenities where working but the hot tub. WE PAYED FOR THE HOT TUB!!! PLEASE READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE STAYING HERE. ITS A PATTERN!!! I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS.

Pretty bad experience so far. Paid $200 for a hotel room for one night. The room was not properly cleaned. The room was musty, and the bathroom smells like vomit. The surfaces weren't wiped down, and an old rotten steak was left in the fridge. Front desk said they would offer us a new room, then went back on their word, I guess with no comparable room to offer. I regret booking a room here. Room was very bright in front of building, and very loud next to train tracks and traffic, horrible location. Super small and flat pillows, and uncomfortable blanket. I almost got 2 hours of sleep...Flashing light on TV display all night... I will say, the front desk girl was still professional, friendly and helpful, went above and beyond by coming right away to clean, and even apologized and took so

If I could choose negative stars to rate this company I would. WE booked a room for early October and then had to cancel the following day. My wife received a message that the room was canceled and our $175 would be returned to our credit card. Later that month when our billing statement came the charge was never credited. We were directed to submit our concern through a third party (Hotels.com). Independence Stay Hotel and Suites wouldn't directly hear our concerns. Long story short, Indepence Stay had Hotels com inform us we wouldn't get our refund. I highly recommend people choose another place to stay. A place that operates with integrity. Independence Stay sure doesn't. It's very shady to charge people for services you don't provide. It's also very shady to not return peop
