Budget Inn

Was staying here until I could move into my apartment last Saturday because every other hotel is very overpriced for such a small town. I had roaches in my room, ( i was in room 111) specifically little baby roaches meaning there’s a whole infestation going on. Be careful or you will bring these little bastards home with you.

My husband and I stayed here for one night with our two cats. It is an older hotel and outdated, but the beds were comfortable, and the room was clean other than some trash under the bed. My only issue is that the beds don't have a solid base so my cats hid under the bed, which meant we had to move the beds to get them out. That's how we discovered the trash. Overall, I would stay here again as it is a good hotel for the price and one of the few in the area that allow cats to stay.

After 8 hours on the road the room was a welcome sight. Room was small but had everything required for a good nights rest and surprisingly large closet that would be perfect in the winter for coats & boots. |Nice firm mattress, good pillows, working air-conditioning unit that when we opened the window for fresh air did not cycle on to waste electricity. |The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very friendly and when we inquired about restaurants gave us several recommendations within walking distance. The Mexican restaurant La Cabana is where we went and was fantastic food with huge portions and reasonably priced.|If you are travelling and just need a place to sleep inexpensively but CLEAN, this is an excellent choice.

The staff at this establishment are incredibly kind people. I am grateful to have stayed there. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It also made my daughter and I feel very safe.

Read the negative reviews and was concerned. Wife is a retired public health nurse, looked the room over and announced we were staying. She isn't easy to please. Family owned and they are on site and easily available. Stay was quiet and uneventful. Good value.
