Located in The Fire's Creek Recreation are if the Nantahala National Forest outside of Hayesville NC. Free Camping you may stay 14 days. Peace Quiet with stream running through the camp.
Great place to spend the day swimming and just relaxing. I've been going there sense I was born, and love it
That toilet.. But thankful for it! Great free first come, first serve outpost! Ilove the cozy atmosphere and a stream divides the lots. A bear sanctuary.
Been camping here since I was born! Great primitive camping with an outhouse type concrete bathroom.
LOVE IT EXCEPT FOR THE UNDERCOVER POLICE THAT KEEP POPPING IN!! FRFR.. Last night, we were visited by a family of large wildcats....bobcat, panther, or mountain lion we are still unsure. The paw prints this morning were HUGE!! They were much larger than my hand.
