Customer Reviews
Camp 64 is a fantastic find. The owners are great people and live on site. They truly care about making your stay a great one. Ice cold beer, lots of shade, tables and a good variety of food on the menu. I have personally had the burgers, chicken wings and fries. Owners son, cooks the food in a nice clean and modern kitchen facility. Lots of condiments, napkins etc. No complaints. Live music on the stage and great people to meet here. Biker friendly and lots of safe parking. A true patriot that flies MANY American flags. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We were there for four months. Paid and paid. Joey was nice but sometimes mood swings. No fish live in that water. Lol AT ALL! Trust me. The wife is a nut case!!!!!!! Hand on hip and not friendly, screaming all the time. Joey had beautiful dogs there but never on leash. The food ? Hello. Biscuits in a can? Are we really that desperate? Maybe they got rid of the fish so you would starve enough to buy the can Biscuits.
Joey & Vivian are great owners and camp hosts! Last week was our 3rd time camping at Camp 64 on shooting creek. There are full hook ups, 30/50 amps, water & sewer in excellent condition at each campsite. They keep adding more and keep the grounds so pristine. There The bathrooms are brand new, including a nice shower. All the comforts, like home. There is a full size stackable washer/dryer in between the 2 nice bathrooms. $3 wash, $2 dry. The pole barn is completed and Joey is working on the attached bar. We always get "our" favorite spot when we're in town to see friends and our pups just love it there, just like we do. You can enter the creek at your own risk or sit and relax creekside by the firepit. The incredible view of the mountains surrounds you at camp or take a short drive to
Great campsite where everyone feels like family. Vivian and Joey go out of their way to make you feel welcome and will help you with anything you need. Ronnie in the kitchen makes a mean burger and I hear some of the best biscuits around (sold out by 7am so I couldn’t try them). Then there was the live music that played for hours. It felt like we found the best kept secret around. Highly recommended. Just go!
I cannot say enough about how awesome camp 64 is Joey and Vivian Hood. The owners have done such an outstanding job making a place comfortable and welcoming to anyone. I would definitely say if you can get out that way to visit he will not be disappointed they are a great group of people in the hospitality is out of this world get up there and go see them. You’ll be glad you did
