Once again, we had a great stay at Doc & Al's. Peter had left his lantern on the last visit, he called, and sure enough they had saved it aside for him to come pick it up. It was a great to have a nice trailer to stay in with the weather being a little wintery this weekend. Perfect fishing and relaxing trip. Nice little trailer, all the amenities. Great trip! See you next season!!!
Wow. I love all the reviews on this! I used to live here, my father worked at the main reception desk, behind the area is where we lived! Of course, we left 2021 around Christmas in December. I love my current home, but I sure do like knowing that my old home had such great reviews! Love all of you people!
My family and I used to go up there for years. We liked to try out all the cabins. Cabins were great.....just be mindful of the RVS this was 15 yrs ago mind you....but some of the reviews im seeing now show not much has changed. My family and I rented an RV and as soon as we got there the toilet flooded. The toilet would flood.....every single time. That my parents flipped. They went and told the host the next day. And the host told them it was fine when we gave it to you. Told them to pack up an leave. Went to my aunt and uncle in the office cabin (that had nothing to do with this) and asked if they wanted to leave too. The hosts are not nice. They take problems with rvs and cabins as you not up for the camping lifestyle and they just dont want to hear about it.
Hidden GEM! The area is so beautiful and a perfect getaway from the city. Almost feels off the grid. No TV, no distractions… just pure nature! The cabins have all been remodeled a little and provide just enough comfort, yet still rugged. Lots of great fishing, easy hiking and nature! Beautiful tall trees surrounding the area.
We stayed in one of their trailers instead of driving our trailer 10 hours to get to the resort. Loved it had AC. Could listen to the sound of the creek while going to bed. Nice mattress and good shade with the trees. Really quiet. We will go back. Close to Crag's campground where our friends camped and only 10 min away to Bridgeport. Must to Alber's Deli for sandwiches!! We were impressed!!
