Great owners, very kind and helpful. Perfect neighborhood for my needs. Nice, clean room, simple but perfect for my needs. Nice and warm. Perfect parking. It ls been a very pleasurable long term work stay. Lots of privacy and quiet. Plenty of space. Great room rates. Highly recommended!

Pros: beds and bedding were fine. Bathroom seemed new. Location was ideal for visiting museums. ||Cons: No place to hang towels in bathroom. Brown splatters on bathroom wall around sink. Room description said there would be a refrigerator, microwave, and hairdryer in room. There were not. When we inquired we were told the township made them remove them because no GFCIs. But there were GFCI outlets in room, so ??? Breakfast quality was poor. Coffee tasted bad, hard boiled eggs were overcooked - dry and tasteless, peanut butter in packets was hardened solid.

Positive: People Negative: Furnishings in poor condition! only 1 desk chair. No hair dryer,refrigerator or microwave.Breakfast poorly done… one toaster broken as was coffee equipment!Really needs updating… could be nice!

The hotel was okay. My room had a musty odor to it and it was very dated. It was not as clean as it should have been but it served it's purpose for the night. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. The hard boiled eggs at breakfast were not cooked all the way. Our room was for 4 people but they only gave us 2 towels. The staff were nice though.

This Howard Johnson was like a blast from the past with the outdoor motel nature. The room was brightened with a lot of color, which we appreciated, but there were a lot of scrapes on the walls throughout the colorful paint. Overall, things felt old, but the room was still comfortable on the whole. The bathroom could really use some towel racks! Where we started to really not enjoy our stay was at breakfast. The waffle batter was off, the apple juice tasted horrible, and we opted for some toast instead, hoping it was safe. Fortunately, there was a Dunkin' Donuts just down the road, but disappointing when you expect a simple and edible breakfast for the price you're paying for the room.
