Howard Johnson by Wyndham Pikesville

Its not bad. mice in my room (102 if i recall). Staff is great! I can see that many of the circumstances at play here make it nearly impossible to really keep out rats. The cleaning lady does great. Vacuums her but off! They really should switch to a linoleum flooring especially on the stairway. But I had a good stay (im a little bit backwoods so takes alot to scare me off) quiet, and everyone was chill. Staff were nice and laid back.

This place is a dump. They did not know the concept of clean. Their idea of a breakfast was coffee, juice and a granola bar. We had to change rooms because of the smell of smoke. This place cannot be called a 2 star. I would give it a NO star hotel rating. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

As with other reviews I would suggest avoid this place if you can. We booked a few months back for a single night stay while passing through. Accommodation was sadly lacking in all respects. Apparently work is underway to refurbish the place but at this present time it the smell of tobacco and also weed at times was overwhelming. The room decor and bedding was less than desirable. Breakfast was included. We opted for McDonald's opposite. Here we spoke with a local who gave us further insight into the property and reasons to avoid. Cannot do 0 stars

This is the worst place ever. The place is dirty, Beds are dirty, sheets are dirty with what looks like cigarette burns. They need to remove the photos they have on their website and put up recent ones. Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Pikesville, needs to be demolished. There is NO STAR for this place. They have to call in two elderly men to change the sheet. After several trips they were able to find one sheet without a cigarette burn. The smell of the place gives me a headache. I will never return to this place and I can only tell my friends about my bad experience.

Positive: Honestly nothing. The staff was not welcoming. Negative: The room was stink, I seen a mouse running around the hotel. There was a stinch in the room I couldn’t stay I gave my key back and just left. I couldn’t sleep and wasn’t at ease. The phone was not in the wall but in the drawer, the smoke detector was gone
