House of the Seasons

Our first time here and in Jefferson. Loved the tour of the House of Seasons given by Shirley. She is an amazing lady. Rachel and Megan provided excellent breakfasts, served piping hot! Quite, relaxing and highly recommend.

We had an excellent weekend away here! Hospitality was exceptional with homemade treats and a gorgeous breakfast spread. House and grounds were beautiful and kept to a high standard. Definitely recommend- and don’t miss the the tour of the house as well!

It's important to know that the house itself is a museum, not the B&B. They have 4 very nice suites located just steps away from the home. We enjoyed the presidential suite very much. Good sized jetted tub in the suite (jetted tubs are rare in Jefferson). The food is exceptional! Shirley is a fantastic cook! Be sure & take the guided tour of the home (offered Saturdays & Sundays at 11 am) with Shirley. She has a wealth of information about the home & it's history. Also ask her for restaurant/shopping tips. We will definitely stay here on our next trip!

We’ve been visiting the House Of Seasons every season for years now. We absolutely love the history of Jefferson and we especially love the House Of Seasons! Shirley is amazing in every way. She makes the best breakfast one could ask for, using fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs from her own garden right on the premises of the beautiful House Of Seasons.

My wife and I stayed at the House of Seasons for our anniversary. It was Great! Shirley was a great host. The “Lady Bird Johnson” Suite that we stayed in was very nice. It is in the carriage house. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. This suite had a whirlpool tub and a nice sized stall shower. Breakfast was great everyday and lots of food. Also, cake, candies, and snacks were left for us in our room. So nice. |The tour of the house was wonderful. The grounds and greenhouse are beautiful. |We highly recommend the House of Seasons.
