Hotel Of Huron

The experience was not good. First, No hot tub. Call before you book. Its "under maintenance" The room was dirty, the shower head and bath floor were disgusting, the bedding stained, the desk and desk chair and even nightstand had white sticky substances all over it, lampshade cracked. I was with my son, we had traveled for 8 hours i asked for a new room because we really wanted a shower... the room he offered was WORSE and I requested to go back to the prior room. The breakfast was a joke... no plates out? Milk was spoiled for the cereal which my son thought would be the only safe food to eat along with make your own waffle. We left as fast as we could. No shower, no breakfast, no soak in the hot tub... Worst part is.. while the man at the desk was smiling, he was hard to understand and w

I would not stay again. Poor quality. Room was dirty. The floor was pretty dirty and the carpet was very old. The bathroom was pretty dirty. Bathtub/shower was stained and old/gross. Hotel would have to change management and modernize / renovate the hotel. It looks and feels like a hotel from the 70s or 80s currently. It’s not very attractive. The front desk is rarely ever staffed unless you pick up a phone and then someone will finally come out after a few minutes. I went downstairs and did not see anyone around. This hotel looked very empty, not vibrant at all, and somehow the front desk was not able to upgrade our room upon request. The breakfast was very meager and disappointing. old 2 story building, no elevator for guests on top floor

Very disappointed. Staff was sparse. Hot tub under maintenance... looks like to be forever. Breakfast was mediocre. But the most disappointing was the room was not clean. And Im not even picky! So.... Huron SD you can do better.

Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Biggest drawback was no hot water in sink or shower and the bathroom sink leaked everywhere. Carpet was gross, but otherwise it was ok.
