Hotel Nyack - JDV by Hyatt

We recently stayed at Hotel Nyack and overall had a pleasant experience. The free parking was a huge bonus for us and made our stay much more convenient. The lobby and restaurant looked very nice and fancy, creating a great first impression. The front desk customer service was excellent—we received a very warm welcome, and they acknowledged my Explorist status, which we truly appreciated.||||The room itself looked nice, and the bathroom was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to rest well. We also loved having snacks and drinks available in the room, even though they were for purchase. Another great touch was being able to charge our iPhones without needing an iPhone charger, and we really appreciated the free bottle of water.||||That said, there were a few do

Positive: The decor was very different from others we stayed at on our trip. It was loft-style, more trendy and had kind of a hipster vibe. The staff were AMAZING! They really made us feel at home hotel employees at the restaurant! Negative: We really enjoyed every aspect.

Room is cool and trendy, but there was NO parking at all cause of events apparently even though we booked a room to stay, which is either poor planning on the hotel's part or a lack of care for the experience of their guests. Screaming children running around everywhere at all hours and when asked what to do about parking the staff had no answers and didn't care to try to get any to assist. Overall poor service and handling which is a shame because the room is very cool. Obviously making money was more important to them considering thinking about parking was not a priority for the guests. Maybe stay somewhere else more professional.

I was attending a wedding and the hosts arranged for rooms at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and check in was smooth without any issues. I liked that in the morning, they have complimentary coffee, tea, water, fruit and pastries in the lobby area. It was nice to grab a quick cup of coffee and snack if you're in a rush. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

The decor is very unique. Not all flowers and pastels as many hotels are. It is hauntingly beautiful, with deep, rich colors and unusual wall art. Carpet, light fixtures, and wall mirror very goth and gorgeous. Bathroom is modern and clean, and sandalwood scent of the body lotion is intoxicating and filled the room. Bedding was crisp and clean, and the bed very comfortable. Black-out window curtains very effective. TV & remote in working order. Barn door covering the closet and bathroom very functional. No door swinging out and taking up room. The lighting shining down onto the floor from under the bed platform was very moody and romantic. The bar was very nice, as was staff.
