Hotel Indigo Gatlinburg by IHG

Positive: The staff was so friendly! The gentleman working the Starbucks was so helpful with information about the national park! The check in staff was also super kind and helpful! The hotel was so clean and inviting. Negative: The pillows in the room are terrible. They squish down to nothing when laying on them.

Tammy and Jared were phenomenal and took very good care of me. More than a five star rating. So inviting and truly cared. My room was very clean and nicer than the photos online. Went to the restaurant our server was so sweet and shared her snow experience. Seeing someone so excited just about life in general. I can’t remember her name but she is from Caribbean islands. Bar tenders were sweet. A little disappointed bar didn’t open till 5 on a Saturday and the weather was nice. So not sure why. I wish I could could clone the staff for other ihg hotels or hotels in general. I’ll pay extra for good customer service. Parking was easy and hey that yellow tattoo car makes it easy to find the entrance. Thank you all for taking care of my family.

This was our second visit to Gatlinburg and for the first visit we stayed in a luxurious cabin and there were 16 of us. This time we wanted an impromptu family trip. It’s hard to find newer hotel listings in the area…really hard. Hotel Indigo has a convenient location, walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg, the staff is helpful, and the hotel is new, modern, and clean.|Ken at the front desk took great care of us. They have an elevator in the parking garage for you to pull up to and unload, hot coffee in the morning, an amazing view from their rooftop restaurant/bar, and the rooms are thoughtfully laid out.|Our first room had a funny smell, so Ken met us with new keys at our new room. Check-in was effortless, and Ken, the manager, set the tone for the entire stay with genuine warmth and professionalism. It didn’t feel transactional it felt welcoming. That distinction matters. What sets this property apart is how thoughtfully it blends convenience with experience. Its downtown location allowed us to park the car and simply live in the city no circling blocks for parking, no stress, just the freedom to explore on foot. That alone elevated the stay. Tammy at the front desk helped me make sure our room was the perfect room for our family. She went above and beyond to help us with everything from the room placement, type of room and even our breakfast! The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. Our room was clean and spacious with lots of light and all the amenities we needed. The restaurant upstairs is open and airy with a beautiful view. They are still working out a few kinks up there but I’m sure that will happen very soon. The hotel hasn’t been open very long and the staff is working hard to make things perfect.
