Hotel Apache

If you're not looking for anything sunny and glamorous, the Apache might be the perfect Vegas hotel. While it's a bit dated and lacking frills, it is comfortable, clean, sturdy and old-fashion classy. I love it. And remember it is among the last "no resort fee" hotels in Vegas. Very affordable and very pleasing. And the location is right in the very center of the Downtown zone.

Great hotel and even better staff. Fremont Street is the place to stay in Vegas and Hotel Apache is the hotel to do it. Super cool rooms and fantastic prices. Even better is the wonderful customer service of the staff. They actually care about you being there. Lina was super at check in and Juanti in Housekeeping helped get me into my room, taking time out of his day and was very welcoming! Also a special shout out to Mitch over in the Player's Card area, who helped get me set up and gave me the rundown of the casino. After two nights in my room, there was an issue because I had absolutely no wifi for some reason (and needed it for work). I made one phone call and Ruby picked up from the front desk of Four Queens (Hotel Apache's sister property) and was offered a new room IMMEDIATELY.

I was expecting it to be run down and possibly moldy or something; I think they did a wonderful job of renovating it. Those rooms are small but they made them very pleasant they have beautiful wood floors. The whole place seemed very clean and welcoming. The downtown is very fun!

Positive: Right in the middle of Fremont Street and no resort fee. Negative: Poor Wi-Fi connection this trip. It was better in April. This time I was "connected" but might as well not have been. I was able to use my phone as a hot spot . . . but that shouldn't be necessary.

Great location, good size room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, we liked our view. Cons: of course it was a bit noisy due to traffic outside our window (cars and lots of emergency vehicles) and foot traffic out in the hallway. Thankfully room had built-in fan that helped with the noise a lot. We would definitely stay again based on location and price.
