Hotel Angeleno

Let's get right to facts. This hotel is strategically located near Beverly Hills, so it is NOT going to be cheap. But, it does come with a great location, ammenities, and service. And if you have an Expedia and/or corporate account the deals are plenty. I stay here for business travel, and truly enjoy both the location and prompt service. And they do listen to your suggestions and do their best to improve service. A prime example is recent addition to the breakfast menu. P.S. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. Starting with the valet. The lady that works valet during the day is so sweet and complementary. They make you feel like a true VIP before you even walk inside. The front desk guy gave amazing customer service. The room was extremely nice. Very high tech. Beautiful bathroom. Unfortunately my view was of the expressway. This is my go to hotel when I stay in LA now.

The hotel requires mandatory valet parking at $45 per night, even though self-parking would have been a straightforward. There was no option to opt out of valet service. In addition, they charge $5 per day for breakfast, which was described as complimentary. The room itself had very poor sound insulation. Noise from the nearby highway was clearly audible inside the room and made it difficult to rest. Guests who are sensitive to noise (attached a video as reference) or concerned about mandatory fees may want to take this into consideration.

I recently stayed at Hotel Angeleno and was pleasantly surprised by the value it offers. The room was clean and comfortable—on the smaller side, but perfectly fine considering the great price. The location right off the freeway is very convenient for getting around Los Angeles, though you can definitely hear freeway noise. If you’re sensitive to sound, I recommend requesting a room on the quieter side of the building.One of the highlights of the stay was the top-floor restaurant, which has an amazing panoramic view of the city. We enjoyed dinner there because there aren’t any shops or restaurants immediately around the hotel, and the atmosphere and food made it absolutely worth it. Our stay at the hotel was amazing!! Everything was very clean, breakfast was very good and there are beautiful views where they serve it. Edith at the front desk was outstanding! Anytime we needed anything she was there with a smile on her face happy to help! Valet was also very quick, attentive and friendly! There was always someone there to grab your car no matter the hour! I would 100% stay here again!
