Barebones accommodations. Friendly staff. Free WiFi, but no community room/TV. Building/house was built in the 1960s/1970s and hasn't been modernized. Clean interior. Worth it to pay extra for a private room. Quiet, but early morning guests produce loud talking and slamming doors. Limited public transportation. Free parking in a dirt lot. Outside seating area with cats and chickens roaming the exterior of the property. Access to a full size kitchen. Supposedly, they offer a free fix-it-yourself breakfast. No signage on the building, look for the large directional arrows on the exterior wall. Good option if you don't want to spend $100+ a night at Motel 6. Recommended...

This is by far the worst hostel in the United States. The host is rude, and has no clue of how hostels are suppose to run. There so called free breakfast consists of eggs when available and coffee, both of which you need to make yourself. This hostel is in the middle of nowhere, and is the worth the money you spend, and during my stay I found I should have stayed at Motel 6 for the same rate. I received a private room the size of a closet with no air conditioning, and during the day it was 100+ degrees. The hostel does not have a TV in any of the common areas. They had a guest, probably an illegal alien, sleeping outside in a van, who did Meth in the property. The host and general manager both knew he was doing drugs, but did nothing about it and states, "you will see people doing drugs wh

I'll start with the basics: I couldn't properly sleep here. My bed was in the hallway behind a shower curtain, so noise and light made it impossible to sleep well at early night and early morning. The hostel is highly neglected from smallest to biggest details: very few kitchenware, no even cups to be seen, no dish towels or paper towels. Cupboard are fill with other stuff – bread that should've been long thrown away; I did them the favour. Lockers are filled with random stuff, and no one around during check-in time. besides the bathroom, the place isn't particularly clean. Some reviews mentions eggs - I was not offered eggs nor told of them. Strangely enough, even WiFi isn't really available, as no one knows what's the correct password. Coming from NY, I had unexpected knee surgery in Palm Springs..this became the perfect spot to heal and rest. I was very comfortable and keep coming back!😁

I have never stayed in a hostel before, so I don't know what to expect. After this experience, I don't think I'll ever stay in one again. Here are the cons: 1) The front patio is just a complete mess. 2) Too many people slamming the front door, which rattles the whole house. 3) People were constantly snoring at night. Thank God I wore my headphones to sleep. 4) I did find a couple of roaches. 5) Someone kept stealing all my water in the fridge even though I labeled my name & put on the bottle cap ‘Don't Touch’. At this point, it's intentional & that person doesn't give a damn. 6) There are too many cons to list about this place. I'll never stay in another hostel ever again. The only reason I tolerated staying are the chickens. They have cute little, feather-legged chickens. Besides that,
