Horizon Inn & Suites

I had some issues getting my reservation to be completed. The hotel is under new ownership/management since our last stay. The new management was very gracious, helpful, and responsive to our needs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable! New towels and shower curtain. We stayed here for several days while visiting family in the area and was a good place to stay. We requested (and were given) a first floor room as the hotel doesn't have an elevator. We will stay here again when we return to the area.

Best hotel stay in town ever. Always come to this hotel because they are honest and affordable but more honest and better than the other hotel in town. They are very welcoming on pets and don't try to underline you with hidden fees like the other place I love staying at this hotel and always feels welcome.

The room stunk like animal and cigarettes. Dirty. The continental breakfast is only good if you eat in the designated area otherwise they charge an additiona cleaning fee if you want to eat it in your room!! Ridiculous! Overpriced for what felt like sleeping in a renovated old school. Not cozy feeling at all. Uninviting atmosphere all together. Additional fees for everything. I suggest staying at a different place down the road.

I think this is one of the better hotels we've stayed in for work. The bathroom was a good size and okay clean. The edges along the floor seemed bypassed as I could see a few strands of hair and dust there. I was able to sleep comfortably on the bed. They had 4 towels and wash clothes in the rooms we had. I think the most towels we usually get at other places is 3. We could go down to the front desk and ask for another towel, but we usually don't get to our rooms until 9-10pm so no one feels like it.

I reserved a room here for a wedding. Didn't realize I was getting a jacuzzi in my room. The room was huge... Biggest one I've ever stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi . Bed was super comfy and the breakfast was great. Great value for the price.
