Homewood Suites by Hilton Tyler

This was my first time staying here as I wanted to find a place not on 69 and closer to my client when I'm in Tyler. From the minute I walked in I was impressed with the fast and friendly service. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The hotel itself was quiet. It's not right on a main road so there is not a lot of traffic noise. The doors don't slam shut in the hotel like most places either. It was a quiet pleasant stay for my business trip and I do plan on returning! Don't stay on 69/Broadway, stay here instead

Positive: "" Negative: No employees at front desk, we waited 15 minutes for an employee to come check us in.. The carpet in100 hall and our room was dirty and stained. Our room was not cleaned after the first night stay. We were told that service must be requested.

All areas of this hotel that we saw were very clean, including the lobby, breakfast area and our room. We enjoyed the suite with a separate bedroom and a full size refrigerator. The free breakfast is definitely a step above the normal hotel breakfast buffet. The young lady in charge (daughter of the front desk manager) kept the area very clean and all dishes full at all times. The front desk manager, Miss Christine a/k/a Sunshine, was absolutely fantastic. She was always smiling, cheerful and very happy. She remembered us and was very helpful. If we ever return to Tyler, we will definitely stay at Homewood Suites.

Nate K. was awesome at check in and checkout. We were a university group traveling for a conference with rooms booked by 3 different people. Nate got us situated and settled. Great rooms, delicious fresh breakfast, room to practice presentations! Thanks Nate.

The recent remodel is outstanding. The lobby and exercise room are nice. And especially the wonderful breakfast cook! Korea is the best! An important thing that is missing, however, is an EV charger. The charger next door at Days Inn has been broken for a long time, and Homewood Suites would benefit greatly and attract business with a Tesla Destination charger. We will have to look elsewhere in town for now.
