Allocated disabled/accessible room, so extra room was nice - had kitchen and sitting area. Not nice was faulty plumbing in toilet that didn't flush. Front desk didn't really take note of that, nor were they willing to waive carpark charges or offer some goodwill for that unfortunate situation. Location is good, near highway, but be mindful of any travel S requires you to head N first. Breakfast was pretty standard fare, only full milk available so be aware. No yoghurt strangely, so probably sub par with other similar establishments.
This place was pretty nice. The person who made my mornings brighter was Fred, Fred was so upbeat, and welcoming. I truly hope he has the best of everything he ever wants or needs. My cons for this place was one the pool, it really needs to be updated, I was so looking forward to a nice swim but nope not in that pool I will pass. The second con for me was the elevators. Myself and my kiddos were on one and it started moving before the door closed. Not something I want to experience again. Lastly, the water in the shower was not very hot at all, and it started slowly losing pressure.
The lady at the front desk was super nice and very helpful but honestly that was she o my good part of our stay. The first thing we noticed when getting to our room was the huge hole in the ceiling. Not a huge deal but definitely a surprise. Then there was the hair in our bed that definitely didn’t belong to us. As well as lipstick and maybe blood? Then there was the shower… the water pressure was awful but it was worse that it would go from really cold to extremely hot without even touching the water dial. I wish the rooms were maintained better but the staff were really nice.
I honestly didn’t expect to love this hotel as much as I did, but Homewood Suites in Brisbane really impressed me. The rooms are huge — it feels more like a little apartment than a hotel, complete with a kitchen, comfy bed, and space to actually relax.||Breakfast was way better than your usual “continental” setup — hot food, good variety, and the coffee was strong (thank god). Location is super convenient too: close to SFO, easy freeway access, and far enough from the chaos of downtown SF without feeling isolated.||But the best part? The staff. Every single person I dealt with was friendly and helpful — it didn’t feel fake or forced, just genuinely good service. That makes all the difference.
This hotel is great and worth it for the price. Perfect for nights out in SF with a safer environment as it’s only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown. The room was big and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and with a good selection. Would stay again 100%.
