Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Maitland

Honestly this is a little disappointing to even have to be put in a position to write this review. Honestly I wish I would have seen the reviews before booking this stay. My husband and I have been staying with Hilton for years and even this specific property. But a lot has definitely changed with this location . like the lack of quality of service. I felt like I was intentionally being dismissed and no one took accountability for the error which was clearly the properties error by choice ,I believe. I booked originally with a third party as I always have with other travels . I payed a stay at this property at a great rate. but then my reservation was canceled because they said the digital card was not going through or declined, actual reason was because they were trying to overcharge the

Had a stay with family for a special surprise visit to see my parents. The service there was fantastic! Kim at the front desk was incredible. I had left my diamond earrings on the night stand and forgot about them. I called that evening after realizing it. Kim at the front desk let me know they found one earring and let me know I could come look for myself as well. On my way over to the hotel, Kim personally searched the room and found the other earring. She packaged it in a special envelope with a note and kept it in the safe. I am so grateful for her kindness and the honesty of the staff. I would stay there again.

Positive: The property was very quiet and my Wife was very happy with our stay. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. Negative: I noticed UBER and LYFT drivers hanging out right outside the main entrance which was a bit surprising because they were smoking Cigarettes and speaking loudly about their business.

The people at the front desk were always very friendly. This was a great place to stay. It was not an absolutely perfect pristine and totally spotless place, but it was clean and I feel very safe. The breakfast was outstanding and the people working at the breakfast were amazing

Not Hilton quality. Couldn't use the pool, it was dirty. Front desk clerk was rude and clueless. Was not impressed by the location. They made a mistake on my reservation and only booked one night. Said my card was declined because they put in the wrong expiration date. Thankfully only stayed one night. The Hampton Inn 3 miles away much better. Only thing good was breakfast.
