Homewood Suites by Hilton Decatur-Forsyth

Great hotel. We had an updated suite as they are still renovating the hotel. Excellent location, near shopping and restaurants. Nice friendly staff. Very clean with good amenities. Fairly priced for the area. We can certainly recommend this hotel. Give them a try. We were pleased with our stay. One minor issue we encountered was the limited parking areas.

This hotel is hands-down a 5+ star place to stay. We traveled to the area for a wedding and really wanted to be able to check-in "on time" or perhaps even a bit early if we arrived before 3:00 (perhaps 10-15 minutes), so that we could freshen-up and change clothes prior to the 4:00 wedding. When I called to ensure that our room would be ready, I explained our situation. The staff member I spoke with was understanding and ensured me that our room would be ready. When my sister and I arrived with our 80+ year old parents and was checking in (yes, about 10 minutes before 3:00), the front desk member stated, "oh yes, our guests attending a wedding - your room is ready and waiting for you!". Positive: Extremely clean rooms and the hotel surrounding was acceptable, very nice experience and would consider staying again. Negative: The following day after we checked out attempted to call the hotel to check if he forgot a medical bottle but couldn?t get anyone to answer the phones at 2:00 pm and tried for hours without success !

Excellent service. Stayed on 3rd floor due to being newly remodeled. Had to change my room due to concerns. I think this specific room remodel was not 100% completed. Easily changed my room. Sheli came to me rather than making me come back to the front desk. I also appreciated the text check ins that they do to assure your stay is going well. Disappointed that there is no longer a hot tub but a good experience overall, including the breakfast even though I don’t eat meat, which I told the front desk & they said they would mention to the kitchen in the morning & voila no meat premade omelettes the next day. Looking forward to returning when it’s warmer out to sit in outside area around the fireplace. I love the kitchenette with full size fridge.

This place was very affordable for a nice sized suite room that had a kitchen refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave. Very polite staff. Overall good experience. They also have free breakfast in the morning with a good variety of options.
