Homebound RV Parks

This place is what a campground should be like. There's lots of trees space between camping vehicles clean restrooms and showers. The staff are awesome very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities going on and has an big indoor pool also a affordable laundry room. Very affordable rates. Come and check it out you will pleased at what you see. The best campground in Florida!!! Sumter Oaks RV Park is promoted on the website as being "friendly, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere." I thinks is only fair to rate the park on the merit of what it is purported to be.||First, friendly. This is probably true if you don't have children but the manager there Marci doesn't like kids and doesn't want them in her park. If you take the time to review the other negative reviews there are all interactions with families and the manager.||Comfortable. It's hard to be comfortable at a place your family isn't welcome or wanted.||Welcoming Atmosphere. Every other guest we interacted with was friendly and complimentary of my kids behavior. Very quiet and secluded, old Florida look and feel with excellent customer service. Plenty of walking, sights and smells for the pup too. Excellent friendly clientele all the way around the park. All my shopping needs were a short drive up the road. Absolutely stopping for a couple of days again on my way out of South Florida.. 👍🇺🇸

To start off, we never stay in private parks, too much money, too many people, too noisy, etc. This park changed my mind. Wonderful RV park with great customer service. We went there because they have Smart Weigh which will tells you the weight of each corner of your rig. You'll know your balance and a whole lot more. Mike runs the system, he's a former load master in the US Navy and knows a lot about loads, balance, equipment etc. A fantastic resource which will add to the safety of your rig for a very inexpensive cost, ask him about it. The park itself is a quiet and comfortable park. No junk vehicles or sketchy people, just real nice friendly people running the office and nice friendly people camping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even doubled the time there cause we liked it so m

I am a full time resident at Homebound RV Park in Bushnell. The remodeling and upgrading the new owners have done is fantastic. We now have a wonderful remodeled rec center with a game room that includes a pool table, air hockey, foosball and electronic dart machines! A beautiful library and craft room with numerous supplies!! A juke box in the main room to supply music and an indoor heated pool! A beautiful laundry room with all new washers and dryers and a fabulous refinished bath house! It is located in the country with beautiful trees and easy access to the town of Bushnell for shopping, restaurants and churches. Love the peace and quiet and all the wonderful helpful staff. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!!
