Home2 Suites by Hilton Dickson City Scranton

The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, very clean, beds were super comfortable. All areas of the hotel were also extremely clean. There was even pride in the work of the young man who was mopping and cleaning the lobby on Wednesday evening. You could even smell how clean it was! The coffee in the lobby was always hot, not lukewarm in the evenings like we sometimes see at other Hilton hotels during non peak hours. We would absolutely stay here again if our travel takes us back to this area! Thank you to the hardworking professionals at Home2Suites in Dickson City. I’ve recently had a horrible experience at a Hilton in FL and this recent stay at your hotel has renewed my faith in the Hilton brand.

My stay with Home2Suites was above par ! I encountered a kind lady at the front desks whose name tag I believe said Dorothy. She was very pleasant and you could tell by her interactions with the guests that she loves what she does ! She was very helpful with any questions we had and always made sure to speak with us when we passed by the front desk. :) 10/10 will be returning based off my interactions with her alone !

We live less than 10 minutes from this hotel. My girls wanted to go swimming so we stayed one night so that we could use their indoor pool and hot tub. The girls enjoyed the pool all evening. In the morning the girls wanted to swim before we checked out. The pool opened at 8am, we got to the pool around 8:10am. When we entered the pool room, the General Manager told us they were shocking the pool and it would be hours before we could use it. We told her we were locals and stayed the night only to use the pool and would be checked out before we could use the pool again (check out is 11). She said sorry but it would take hours before the pool was open. The girls were devasted. When we got back to the room the girls were crying. Enjoyed my stay. Room was clean, spacious and had quiet! Three musts in a room. Water pressure/temp was sufficient. Love the kitchenette. Staff was mostly attentive, later-8pm was not, gave me a little attitude as if I was interrupting them. No staff I encountered had name badge nor did they use their name. Which shows lack of staff accountability. Did not use the amenities. Location and parking, easy access with plenty of parking, (parking spaces in winter may be more challenging). Price was competitive for area and accommodations. Food/shopping was not walkable but a lot of options in less than 5 minute drive.

This hotel offers great value! Excellent location, near all restaurants and fast food places. The rooms are huge! The free breakfast is also a nice touch, I stayed a few times and the area was never crowded like on other hotels.
