(update: I have reported this location to the health department for It’s cockroaches, stained sheets, etc.) What a wonderful location… for hell. I stayed at this place and was absolutely appalled. I felt like I walked into a time machine. As soon as I walked into the room, I could tell it had not been updated in 20 years and it hadn’t been cleaned in probably that long too. The word disgusting does not adequately describe this entire property and that includes the staff that barely speak English. They are Asian and rude, rude, rude, rude. The cleaning staff invaded our room, even though we had a do not disturb placard on the door knob. Realizing that they could do this at any time when my partner and I went to go out to dinner, I specifically went into the office and explained to th

If I can give ZERO stars, I would! There was hair on sheets so we pulled them off to get more. There was dried blood on the mattress cover and a urine stain on the other bed. Room was very dirty, shower curtain was dirty, dead roaches on the floor( hopefully the photos uploaded) . Tv got no signal for the most part and only 1-3 channels worked. When I went to the office to ask if someone could help with the tv, The manager was rude and told me if I don’t like it I can check out! Housekeeping lady was rude and upset because we pointed out that there’s urine on the toilet seat that needs to be cleaned. We ended up going to a target in the area to buy Ajax and bleach to clean and sanitize our rooms. The only thing that was good about this place is the location. It’s conveniently located by th

I did not have very high expectations of this hotel after reading reviews. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Yes, the place could use a remodel but they have pictures on their site to show you what you are paying for. The housekeeper works very hard and thoroughly cleans the rooms. Anytime I asked him for something (extras towels, iron, etc) he brought it to our room immediately. We spent 6 nights there. The location is great. I felt safer than I thought I would. They have cameras placed in several areas of the property and do not tolerate homeless hanging around. After dark, they close and lock the gate at the back entrance. I was shocked at the amount of homeless people in LA and the surrounding areas but felt comfortable at this hotel. As for Hollywood Blvd and the Walk Of Fame.....

I'll preface this as I have many of my reviews on hotels/motels. I travel extensively for work and stay in around 200 hotels a year. With that said, if my office ever books me here again, I will quit on the spot. Arrived early and went to speak to the desk agent/manager/owner. Told him we had reservations for that night and asked about the possibility of checking in early (a LOT of hotels are fine with this, providing they have rooms ready. I understand it is a courtesy.) I was told check-in was at 3pm and directed to the sign (you'll see a lot of signs on this property.) I began to read. Check-in was listed as 2pm on the signage. It also said there was a mandatory cash deposit of $20 to turn on the phone. When I was told we couldn't check-in early, I asked if we could stay parked on th

This is a very basic motel in a VERY good location with free parking. Almost unheard of in the area. Our room was very noisey, but was big and had lots of light. We asked to move at first as the room was non smoking but the bathroom in particular stunk of smoke. We ended up staying in that room as it was much better than the dark grim downstairs one we were shown. Street noise is very loud, but we turned on the air con and it acted like white noise. We stayed in winter and were cold, night reception had poor English and hung up when our request for a blanket could not be filled. We thought the heater wasn’t working, but this turned out to be wrong, so was fine in the end. Good pressure in the shower, and they let us park for a couple of hours after we checked out while we got food
