Holiday Terrace Beachfront Hotel

All the things you have read are true. The elevator is slow... sloooww.. we were on floor 2 so I took the stairs. The room was not very clean, but not filthy. Mostly sand everywhere on floor which I soon learned to wear house slippers. The staff at the desk was nice. The pool area was clean with fresh towels and a man who cleaned it well every morning. The veiw!! Breathtaking. That's why you book here. If you are on vacation, and need a reasonable priced room with a 5 star view. This is it. Lastly, I have seen many comments about peeling ceiling paint. We had some. The problem is, there is a sign on BOTH doors that ask you not to leave the AC on while yours doors are open because of the moisture it causes. Specially to the ceiling paint. This was a great place for the money I paid! I loved the Pet friendly atmosphere and the kitchinette was great! It was nice to relax on the balcony and unwind from a stressful few weeks! The check in desk ladies were awesome! I will definitely stay here again! Brooks Cumbie

The room was very clean. The staff was both friendly and professional. The only issue I had was getting booked twice for my room and I had to wait 3 days for the refund to deposit into my account. That money was supposed to be for my vacation. Thankfully I had extra. The manager gave us two tickets for complimentary breakfast. She was understanding and very remorseful. It wasn't her fault, but the fault of another staff member. Overall, the experience was good. They do need more bellhop for guests to take luggage to and from rooms.

Great location and price. They checked someone else into my room and my girlfriend was half naked when they opened the door. Fan in bathroom didn't work and no washcloths. I understand they are now renovating. The recovery of issues by the staff ( Lisa) was great.

Positive: Location is right in the beach. We were able to walk to souvenir shops and a convenience store. Staff were friendly Negative: Only 1 elevator is working and it is slow as molasses. Room not very clean and had a weird smell but we weren’t staying long and knew we would not be in the room much. Luckily we travel with cleaning supplies and air freshener.
