Holiday Motel

This place is like a movie set, and perfect for Schitt’s Creek fans. Original tile from the 50s to keep the classic charm, yet clean and updated. Overlooking the cornfields with giant sunflowers, it was a snapshot of the good parts of Americana. John & Linda were such amazing hosts, and they own the amazing food truck on site which is the best food in town. Would highly recommend!

Linda and her husband are very nice people. They are very accommodating and helpful. I've stayed here twice and have had the best experience. I love this place.

We have stayed here twice in the last few years. It is a very cute, clean motel, and if you are a rail fan you will appreciate the frequent trains passing by. The other night (8/12) I watched one that seemed like it was 3 miles long, 2 for sure. Just a couple minor quibbles this 2nd visit: There was a 1” gap at the bottom of the storm door. I was paranoid a critter was going to come in. And the proximity of the last 2 or 3 rooms closest to the road was a minor concern, not for the noise but for safety. I would definitely consider staying again if we pass through.

Holiday Motel is a great stop. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly owners! Enjoyed free coffee in the morning while I sat on the porch & took in the scenery! Mamacitas is their on site food and the smothered burritos are delicious! Don’t hesitate to stay here it’s lovely!

We stayed at the Holiday Motel after a long day of riding our bikes on the Pony Express Bikepacking Route. Martha welcomed us with a smile, and pointed us to our room that was very clean. A warm shower and comfortable bed was everything two tired cyclists needed. We even got to enjoy the complimentary coffee in the morning and grabbed a delicious breakfast burrito from their foodtruck. For the price, I would stay here instead of going to an hotel chain in a heartbeat!
